Eibach/Tokico setup cheap?

Question Eibach/Tokico setup cheap?

Hello,
Can someone help me out? I am interested in purchasing the Eibach springs w/the Tokico blue shocks for $400...is this cheap? They have been used for 2 months.

Actually, do I even need the shocks? I don't want a stiff ride. I prefer the stock ride. My car is a 98 with 80k miles on it. Will the shocks wear out soon?

I also heard that you can upgrade the blue Tokico shocks to adjustable ones with a reciept...is this true??

A new Tokico/Eibach setup would cost around 530$ Someone on the classified section was selling the same setup for 400$ brand new (still in box). It's not a bad price, maybe you can talk the person down a little - but really thats up to you.

You have a '98 with 80k miles? I have 90k on my car and still have the stock suspension components. Ride is a little stiffer but I think I could probably go 150k miles before I need to replace them. The Tokico Eibach setup will give you a harsher ride than a new OEM setup but will drop your car 1". If you want the most comfortable ride, then stick with OEM-if you want to improve handling but feel a little more of the road, then go tokico/eibach.

I don't know their reputation, but AutoCarParts has the Eibach Pro-Kit springs and Tokico blues for under just under $500 + shipping.

245 + 130X2 + $50 shipping = about $550

add $200 to install & alignment.

guys we talkin about $750 for suspension (only shox and springs) here.
can someone find me a better deal?

I think you would like the Tokico shocks. They're very good, not too hard not too stiff. It's true that stock shocks are softer, but they will never perform like the Tokico shocks.
