Eibach/Tokico setup cheap?
Hello,
Can someone help me out? I am interested in purchasing the Eibach springs w/the Tokico blue shocks for $400...is this cheap? They have been used for 2 months.
Actually, do I even need the shocks? I don't want a stiff ride. I prefer the stock ride. My car is a 98 with 80k miles on it. Will the shocks wear out soon?
I also heard that you can upgrade the blue Tokico shocks to adjustable ones with a reciept...is this true??
Thanks!!

A new Tokico/Eibach setup would cost around 530$ Someone on the classified section was selling the same setup for 400$ brand new (still in box). It's not a bad price, maybe you can talk the person down a little - but really thats up to you.
You have a '98 with 80k miles? I have 90k on my car and still have the stock suspension components. Ride is a little stiffer but I think I could probably go 150k miles before I need to replace them. The Tokico Eibach setup will give you a harsher ride than a new OEM setup but will drop your car 1". If you want the most comfortable ride, then stick with OEM-if you want to improve handling but feel a little more of the road, then go tokico/eibach.

I don't know their reputation, but AutoCarParts has the Eibach Pro-Kit springs and Tokico blues for under just under $500 + shipping.
http://www.autocarparts.com/search/r...cat=Suspension
I'd take that over a used set any day.

245 + 130X2 + $50 shipping = about $550
add $200 to install & alignment.
guys we talkin about $750 for suspension (only shox and springs) here.
can someone find me a better deal?
