finally found the plug, it was not fully seated in due to the rubber seal. so it had a bad connection. but now i have another problem, my coolant well water in my case for the time being. it boils over and overheats. i've put in a new t belt,w pump, etc... before i've installed the new motor. i do notice the fan does not spin any faster when over heating hot. since its a hydralic fan i'm not sure how it controls speed. some sort of thermostat that control the hydrualic fluid?
do you guys think i should use factory coolant or water wetter? i'm leaning on the water wetter at the moment because it does well with my 240 and corolla.
with my ac on i've noticed that the fan doesnt go any faster also, i'm suspecting the temp sensor on the rad because when i disconnect it the fan actually does go faster. any one has a part number for it? autozone list one for 100 bucks and the one on a lexus site list it for 50 bucks and i'm not sure if its the right one because of no pics
