Default slamming the car...

I was intalling the MAX coilovers today and I ran into a problem. Basically the swaybar link is preventing me from lowering the car...If I leave the link connected while trying to line up the coilover screw hole to the lower arm, it'll just jack up the entire car instead of raising the arm only, preventing me from lowering it...Do you guys just run without the swaybar? or is there a way around this. oh and this is for the front, I haven't tried the rears yet, will i have a similar problem?

thanks.

When doing suspension, it's best to jack up both front wheels or both rear wheels. Also unbolting the sway bar end link is also recommended during installation.

agreed, just raise the front end from both sides. It will make things a lot easier and there won't be as much tension on the shocks or sways to prevent you from doing any kind of adjustments

the whole car is on jack stands...the whole car is in the air. i already have all the shocks off, and the front coilovers in place. the problem is the swaybar end link isnt letting me lower car(aka raising the lower control arm without jack up the entire car.)
