Default does your SC wander at 80+ MPH

Wonder if anyone else experience this problem.

My SC has been wandering a bit lately when I'm driving on freeway at 80+ mph. Sometimes it makes me nervous.
Now it's dry in Calif so I'm not afraid of spinning but when the raining season comes I'm afraid it's going to be scary.

You shouldn't have to worry about losing control as long as you maintain a solid hold on the wheel. I would suggest an alignment of the wheels - should not cost too much at a local tire place like NTB. There is also wheel balancing, but that is usually resulting in a wobble or vibration if the wheel is not balanced well. Check your tire wear, and inflation pressure also - though it is most probably and alignment issue.

Well the tires are fairly new. I'm very keen about tire pressure and wear so that's not the problem.

I never had this problem until I brought it to wheel works in the bay area for an alignment. It took them 4 times to get it right @#%$#$ retarded shop! The first time I got it back it wanders BIG TIME. It was so scary. Broght it back and it took them three more times to get the freaking job right.

Six months later I heard some noise when backing down the garage. The dealer checked and said some loose suspension nuts. They tightened it. I no longer have the annoying noise but now the wandering problem.

I guess I'll bring it in for an alignment.

Ask around town and call shops to see if they can handle your car. I can't beleive that shop your talking about. I would ask for money back but it has been a while.

What kind (and size) of tires do you have?

Your wheel shop sound like a bunch of monkeys, take it somewhere reliable and get it checked out again.

The suspension clonk when you go backwards and steer or brake is a symptom of worn lower arm bushes, if they are worn this will give you instability at speed, that could also explain why the shop had such a job setting up your car.

It's my second set of Pirelli Supersport 7000, 225/55ZR16. When I firsted had them I experienced some shaking problem. But after the tires wore on the problem went away.
The tires last long. I like them very much.
