hey does anyone know which side is positive and which side is negative on the battery?

sorry my battery went dead and i want to test the sub to make sure it works and im a novice

 

HAHAHAHAHA, Look at the sub, the metal prongs which the clip goes to have a + or a -, then look at the corresponding wire. If that doesnt work use a test light for positive leads. If you have no idea what i am talking about then id say take it to a shop before you melt some wires with a reverse polarity. Or just run brand new wires everywhere!!!

what are the colors of the wires?

 

all grey and grey with a black line... let me guess the all grey lines up with the red and the grey with black lines uo with the black...

 

yup...if the wires are the same color the one with the black strip is usually neg and the solid or the white strip is pos
