Default Engine Check Code 21?

Hi all,
My check engine light came up today after I turned on the AC full blast due to the high heat today in central Cali. I haven't turned on the AC in nearly a year. The code came out to be 21 after I shorted pin E1 and TE1. Anyone with a manual who can give insights into what this code means?

Default sounds like 02

when i first got my SC about 1 month ago it had the "check engine light" i read the code and it was the SUB 02 LEFT BANK, so i changed it, problem solved, then last friday my "check engine light" turned on again, it was the SUB 02 RIGHT BANK this time, so i changed it, problem solved.

02's are supposed to be part a regular maintainance, my car has 156k on it, so i expect the 2 main heated 02's to go bad also.

test your 02, or just swap it, but for the time being reset your ECU and see if it lights up again.

and if your car feels funny, has less power, and/or shifts funny its cus your check engine light is on, i believe the ecu sends the car into a defense mod, and detunes it.

good luck

Xavier

Thanks guys,
It was pretty hot when I crank on the AC and I was speeding out to the freeway as well. According to the chart that hwallen172 posted, the conditions do match what was described. So could this be a one time problem that my car was experiencing under heavy load? Should I reset the check light and see if it comes on again or do I have to change out the front O2 sensors to prevent further damage?
