Default First sc 300

Just consumated a deal today for 95 SC300, auto, 201k, but everything works well, $2850 !! Kuhmo tires in very good condition, MB 5 spoke chrome 16s. the Forum has already helped, as on the way home I slapped the dash 4 times and the Tach dash lights (which were out) came back on! the power antenna is balky and needs help. My only big? problem tho is the Single key with cracked fob. My search for how to get a more inexpensive replacement, or second key, in this forum has so far come up empty. Any alternatives to the no-deal Dealer ?

Gratz on the SC!

I recently lost my ONLY key but was able to get a copy at a lexus dealership.
Just take the title or registration along with photo ID and they should be able to cut you a new key.
I guess price is different depending where you go, cause I called 3 dealers,
and 1 place would do it for $80.00 +tax and other 2 dealers for $50.00 +tax...
This was a non-remote key, keys with chips in them will go for about $600.00 or more.

Congratulations on your purchase. I bought 2 keys from the dealer with the chip and it was 450. He said he was giving me a deal. I told him that not to pull it out of me so fast that it hurts, when its not lubed. What a rip off, for a freaking key. Take the proper paperwork stated above and you will have new ones the next day. Welcome to the club.
