Welcome to CL!, SOARISTO
that's amazing DIY project wow and you have been introduced on like 10 car magazines, that's awesome.

as many of you know, new infiniti's multi-projector HID can make 1.7 bighter than what we had before.
lexlikenother: so due to the different size, it's impossible to install on SC heh..

Unless we were to replace the fog lights with this HID setup....that could be promising.

I thought about the fog lamps, or maybe even putting it in the high beam, and use that as the low beam, and use the low beam as the high beam. But I don't think that would fly with DOT. Plus, I don't think our projectors would make effective high beams. And since the light it produces is so bright and distributed evenly, it wouldn't really matter if they were that close to the center.

I think those would look rather nice on the SC as foglights!

edit: I'm not worried about DOT personally Lights are the LEAST of my worries...lol

Anybody ever wonder if the bright lights (man they are bright and AWESOME) would be street legal here?

Considering they pull over just regular HID's how would cops take lights this bright?

Plus, they look like rocket launchers.

If you're lucky they'd just be blinded and run off the road. But we're never that lucky. >:)

This guy could light up 2 city blocks with all of the HID equipment he has on their. lol Here are 3 pics of the light. I couldn't make sense of the translations, but I think the 2nd and 3rd pic are JUST with the Q45 fog lamps.

I'm sure glad Florida got rid of vehicle inspections.

This is the best that I could come up with. Remember my car is wrecked, and my photoshop capabilites aren't as great as they could be i'm sure. But didn't have much to work with. Plus I have to go to work.

What if I cut that stuff out of the middle??? Would the bumper collapse on me?

Ehh, why expose them to all the weather down there? I wouldn't put them anywhere except inside the headlight housing. It would be too in-your-face anywhere else. You know it IS possible to stuff them in the headlight housing. It's just a lot of work to do. If these REALLY do cost a mere $750 a pair, then I might buy and try them out, but that's probably just a JDM price. Does anyone have a diameter measure on those? I'm guessing somewhere in the range of +120mm.
