can anyone post some pics of their H.I.D. headlights becuase im looking to buy a kit soon but i dont know what kind of temperature to go with. I like the look of the 8000k but maybe there is another i might enjoy some more. ALso what brands are good? IM looking for some plug and play, Post plz!!!

What retrofit did you do? Looks good. Also was it hard retrofiting (im gonna get flamed for this)....

 

im using 2005 tsx projectors (colormoded), denso ballast and 4300k philips bulbs

naw its just takes time.. just get the right stuff and you will fig out the rest and what to do be creative!! thats the best way to go...

I'm getting the 6500K HID kit, and retrofitting later.

 

see this is my bigg problem.. ( i have nothing against any body) but why do people buy kits?? i mean i been there done that... but i didnt know about retrofitting i didnt know it could be done... but if you know about retros and what not you know e49 e55 tsx sc430 projectors will fit in are casing why not spend less to get more then spend more to get less?? with hid kits you get much less lights... no flicker action and try driving to vegas with those kits man the light sucks i did it and i had 2 have my highs on the whole time... blinding drivers... glare man i can keep going and on top of all that you will get a fix it ticket if a cop suspects you have a kit in there... so some people reather spend 250.00-400.00 for a plug and play kit then to spend 250.00- 300.00 max for an oem i guess what ever floats your boat... as you can in the pic its a bigg differecne... can more people post pics of there kits a wall shot... and can people post pics of there retro fit thanks

 

what about ppl like me who have cars which u cant retro w/o MASSIVE mods?

 

Or people like me who have unusually large headlight compounds and a projector won't fit haha. Seriously though, the US Prius does have HIDs but I don't know how much it'll cost to retrofit.
