Default Sc300 from miami.

Whats up everyone! My name is lou and im a proud owner of a 93 sc300. I am new to the world of lexus and coming from fords I am clueless about these cars. Plans are for a 2jz swap within the next couple of months. Now I have a few questions I have read and searched already but cant seam to findout somethings.

1. I am planning on dr.tweak to do the harness conversion will this make the jdm tranny work with the car also?

2. I am confused about the water pump issue.

3. Besides the normal stuff like fuel pump, intercooler, hoses and power steering resivor what else is needed?

sorry for the long post but im really interested in making this swap happen soon. Thanks

Welcome! Decent looking SC..You missed the Mega Meet a JM Lexus on Sun, that would have been the best place to ask questions! If you are in Mia then you can get that wiring extended local, Also when I did my swap I did the timing belt and water pump at the same time. Other things you will need is a boost gauge, Some sort of Engine management, a BOV, Speed cut and boost cut defencer, a tuner to tune your car...thats all I can think of for now but im sure there is more, good luck!

Expect to pay lots to have someone do the wiring harness, and from what I remember you'll also need to the USDM oil pan and a longer throttle cable
