Actually, how many of u guys are willing to buy a manifold that bolts to the stockTT that will bolt to the SC....Tex, if u could make us a manifold that would bolt up to the SC head, we could all just buy it... does anyone agree with me?

You are referring to a 3.0L 2JZ GE manifold, spoiledboi? That will accept a turbo? Or an aftermarket TT manifold? I would definitely buy a manifold made of high carbon cast iron with a 3/8" flange at mount positions and at least .084" (2-2.5mm) runner thickness. Or a welded piece with high quality welds (316 stainless) that could have some sort of warranty with the same specs. And accept a t60-1.

What do you say?

Cool headers

My system is a straight forward bolt on system, as for any other models it takes money and even more time to make a new header, so it would have to be a group buy, with deposits down 50% only then I would start...

Hey, Terry. I'm pretty sure we spoke once before a while back, anyway, just curious, the primaries look to be well constructed, did the design of the heads as they are cast above and below the exhaust ports direct you to use that flange design?

What I mean is that the flanges wrap around the circumference of the primaries and form a small bar laterally to join them together, i'm curious why you didn't form a bar of flat stock to go straight across the flange area, the concern being that with the rate of expansion and contraction of the alloy heads, the flange would have to be pretty significant to keep the assembly from potentially forming an exhaust leak in this area. I'm assuming you adopted this design because of the way the heads are cast around the port area, the oe manifolds/headers use a similar approach, albeit with a slightly wider flange width far as I can tell. Your thoughts Terry?

Cool Headers

The main reson for this approach was ease of design, it was an easy design to copy off the oem manifold, as for expansion it is really very minimal, not something we have ever had an issue with because as the head heats up so to do the headers, an being constructed of mild steel it to has an expansion rating not far behind cast alloy.
Did you want a set ?
Regards
Terry
