sup guys, just thought i'd share this little story and see if anyone else thinks its as weird as I do. so anyways, i just installed my Valor Multimedia head unit, but i'm having a problem and a question.

Problem: Bluetooth can't be found when my phone searches for it, and the head unit says its disconnected. i didn't touch anything or unplug anything, so i figure i'll call them up and ask what gives.

Question: When the faceplate comes off, theres a little flashing red light that goes on. Whats that? It can't be security or something its not wired to anything remotely close to the locks, ignition, alarm, anything its just a head unit. Maybe its fake to scare people off? No idea, figure i'll ask them what thats all about.

so today i call up their phone number from the website, and it rings maybe twice. instead of the usual computer answering and making me press 1 for whatever...i get this.

"Hello?"
me- "Valor multimedia?"
"yes. whats up?"
me= um, well i have an ext. can i dial it? (tell this person the ext)
"o0o0o0o0o0o0oh, HE NOT IN TODAY!"
me- oh, um, uh, well can i speak to someone about tech support?
"You have to Call back tomorrow"
me-
"Bye now!"

lmao, i just hungup in disbelief.

hopefully you guys get a laugh like i did.

Valor is horrible. I've talked to the same Asian lady too. She has a stronnnng accent to say the least.

Oh and I think the redlight was always on/blinking on my HU too. It's just a mock anti-theft thing i guess, and it just shows power is connected

haha alright man thanks. and yeah her accent was extreme. LOL so funny you talked to the same lady, you'd think with a company that big they would get an auto-mated answering system but no
