Modded Car Insurance?
Anyone here rolling with Modded Car Insurance? and if so which company are you with? My insurance is coming up and I figured paying full coverage on my car each year will only net me $5000-6000 dollars if something bad happens in a total loss situation. Ill rather pay more and get a policy for that covers $20,000 for my engine/tranny/rims/suspension n all.

I have USAA(military) insurance and they will cover anything I can show a receipt for without modified coverage. They only require modified coverage if the car is a classic and plated as one. From what I understand most insurance companies will cover things that you have a receipt for or can prove were on the car during an accident/theft. Just call your current insurance company and ask a lot of questions or request them to send you info on coverage of modifications done to a car that they cover.
I dont think 110 is bad at all to cover everything. My SC is 80 a month for full coverage, rental, towing, and unnasured motorist, and my Beemer is only 52 a month for the exact same coverage. I have always wondered why my SC is almost twice as much and 10 years older? WTF?
I have no tickets, no accidents, only a couple of windshield claims from flying rocks. Actually on three cars. About 2 months after calling State Farm and inquiring about changing my policy only on my Lexus to a stated value policy, they sent me a Dear John letter with a 30 notice of dropping my Lexus only from coverage. They had all of my insurance, including Home Owners. I was quite ticked with them, so I dropped them, but kept the Homeowners, as they want to drop all of their Homeowners insurance coverage in Florida. No way. They can keep on providing me with that insurance. I switched my cars to another major carrier. Haven't decided to ask them about stated or not on the Lexus. I do know that if you keep your receipts, you can generally enter into arbitration with the insurance company to get a better settlement.

I have them for my insurance and am going to start modifications on my 95 SC400
