Modded Car Insurance?
LoL. Yea i thought of that also. If the car is insured for a higher value this still insures me to get a nice settlement of cash + if i choose to buy my car back which i will 100% if its not seriously in 1000 pieces or looks like a smashed coke can i will buy it back, because the insurance companys dont know the real value I can still take the gte/6sp and buy a shell for 1500 and do it up again and probly make out with a few grand in my pocket afterwards.
or sell everything and move on (not likely i normally get bored of cars in 6months-year this is the only model that has stuck with me for 4years and counting)I bought this model and im on my 3rd one after turning down SLK350,M3,2GS,IS350s.S classes, and im happy with my choice

Just turning 20 is a main factor.
The sad thing is my stepdad owns the insurance company that insures all 3 of my cars. I'm going to need to look at getting insurance for my mods since I recently started putting mods on my car.

Bumping this thread.. I got my renewal and I just turned 25.. and Im under the impression that we all get a nice discount at age 25.. I got nothing from AAA -_- Prices other people are paying?

I pay just a tad over $1k for a year of full coverage on my SC, before it was almost $1500..but with my SC and my truck, full coverage on both for a year its $1860.
I'm 25 and I'm paying a tad over $1900 a year for full coverage on my 95 sc400 and my 02 wrx, with progressive. i have a few tickets and one accident, but most of those have come off now. hopefully the price will be lower on my next term. my agent did tell me though that most companies no longer give big discounts for turning 25 anymore.
I'm insured with progressive on my 2K Sc4OO for 236 every 6 months, but that for a liability. Whith this kind of ins. I figured if it gets totaled I'm buying my car back and looking for a shell. I've done it before and it works saving me $$ stress and time.
