Default Stupid seat replacement issue

I'm replacing my passenger seat with one I got from a junkyard. I have a problem though. The seat in the car is stuck in the FULLY forward position which is preventing me from getting easy access to the stupid plastic things that cover the seat bolts. I can barely fit my head in front of the seat in order to look back under the seat. I was able to pop off the back plastic bolt covers easily but these are proving exceptionally difficult. It's also not helping that it's 20 degrees out with a 30 mile an hour wind.

Anyway, I assume someone has done this replacement before and has a tip for me or a special tool I need.

Thanks in advance.

I think that a pick of some type would do the trick. Something that can get inside but have a little hook type deal to pull the plastic off. After that though, it's still gonna be a bear to get the stupid bolts loose. Whoever moved my seat all the way forward should be shot without trial.

AND I got a CD changer magazine, but I got the 6 disc when my car had the 8/12. So if anyone needs a 6 disc magazine let me know.

you need a 10mm ratchet and you use that to manually move the seat. There's an access hole in the front.

The is a 10mm screw in the front of each seat rail (1 left, 1 right) you can tighten them clockwise to manually move the seat back
