what exactly do you mean by air issue

nfordhk you have nothing to worry about with your 10 2nd gear drops...unless there was something wrong with the trans to begin with. Now i dont recommend racing your car and manually shifting though. Im not saying abuse the crap out of your trans either and do it all the time but on occasion not going to hurt it....Ive done much worse to my trans.

awhile back, i had a weird problem with my air and heat affecting my driving. when i would turn on the air, the car would run sort of rough, and when i turned off the air, my rpms would drop waaay too low, sometimes causing the car to die. i don't know if all of that is happening to you, but my fix was cleaning the throttle plate.
