Default bryan767's build thread

well, recently i traded my 1997 honda civic:

for a lexus sc300.

i got it and was quite pleased with the trade. so far heres what iv done.

previous owner
1jzgte swap
new oem paint
stance coilovers
bbs style wheels / falken tires
sc400 front lip / wing

repair process
swapped the slipping auto tranny for a fresh auto
fixed the 12volt power outlet
fixed the heat
fixed the battery/alternator issue
fixed the issue of me MISSING 6 LUG NUTS!!!!
fixed the broken stud
new front brake pads

went on a spending spree after i got my paycheck
20x12x3 fmic with pre cut piping for a sc300 with a 1jzgte motor (found it on ebay for 140 bucks!!)
brand new in box greddy of japan (NOT china!) type s bov (not going to circulate it)
hks type 0 turbo timer
retro-solutions 8000k hids

future plans
new radiator (mines turning brown.. which is bad)
remove the front lip - paint it and mount it back correctly..
figure out why my driver door window leaks, and causes me lower carpet portion of the door to get wet
de-pin strip
Blitz-nur spec universal mufflers - 3' exhaust all the way back
hks boost controller
apexi safc2
new headlights
get a new climate control (lcd is bleeding)
manual swap
single the turbo with a drift motion turbo kit
do something about the steeringwheel
restore the previous owners attempt at painting the woodgrain black

Love it man! I happen to love that color. That was the color I was looking for when I was looking for mine, but I happened upon a black one instead. Good luck with the rest of the project!

Same color as my 93 sc3. I didn't care for it much at first but after wearing it for 3 years now I wouldn't change it.

Nice find and good luck with the project.

I wouldn't have ever traded you.

Great trade on your end, though. Congrats.
