spontaneous purchase... new look
I was feeling down, I just got fed up with life in general and needed some cheering up. So I emailed Ken at shine yesterday for a full kit. I picked it up this morning in Rancho. I was gonna try to do a 97 conversion really soon, but ...I don't know why I changed my mind.
All I know is that I now have a full shine kit that I will test fit probably this weekend.
This was a very quick process. I emailed shine at 6pm yesterday, and picked it up this morning. I had to call my buddie who had a truck. his tundra has a bed cover so it made getting the thing home difficult since the kit was taller then the bed know matter how it was placed. The lid would either close and smash the kit, or fly all the way up and move/shake. We figured something out with rope and supplies we bought at the big lots down the street.
Ill update you guys on the status. I hope it lives up to the positive reviews.

Shine is selling the kit for $1200. Im still unsure about my exact car color. I asked the forum a while back and you guys said it was graphite metallic. A Color limited to 93 only.
I installed the rear bumper tonight. Fits good so far. I haven't bolted it on all the way. Only thing I noticed is a hole for for a clip was slightly off, nothing major. Could be fixed easily.
I will try installing the front tomorrow and maybe the sides. It started raining here tonight so I dont know.
Ill post some pics when I get it done.
