Default Window Maintenance

I was about to replace the entire window motor assemblies on both of my doors (regulators and motors) and I was just curious if anyone has experience in this and if so, are there any red flags I should worry about? Like little nit-picky things with installing new regulators, etc. Or anything I should check out while I'm in there...Thanks in advance.

Motors don't go bad typically, just the regulator. I just replaced my driver's side regulator only for around $100.

The plastic access hole covers, big obvious one with the black sticky stuff(mastic or dum dum or such name), and smaller one behind the speaker assemblies.

Be very careful with them, for if they are damaged or not reinstalled correctly, you could have the water dumped inside instead of out through the bottom door weepholes.

If yours are damaged, pm me before paying for new ones.

Just changed my left regulator on my 1993 sc300. It was pretty difficult getting it out. Read a HOW TO on here and it said to remove a bolt behind the bottom area of window. There was no such bolt on my car. Made it very tedious.
