Hey all Im a ls4 owner and am looking into getting a 92 sc300. It's black 5spd, 172k on the clock. It has a cheapo exhaust but other than that its stock.
Here is my concern....I know my way around the motor etc on these cars and after looking it over and driving it, it seems quite sound mechanically.
However the interior is trashed BAD the drivers window doesnt stay up the drivers door panel is falling off, the passengers panel has holes in it the stock radio deck is missing heater and ac don't work.... the list goes on. Then the paint is is decent shap all over except for the roof...where it is peeling like crazy.
He is asking 4500 which to mean seems quite High for a project car like this any thoughts or ideas? Sorry I didnt take any pictures of it.
to give a little insight on the whole sc pricing thing i bought my 93 with 83k on the ODO brand new a/c and brand new sound system for 4800
my second 93 sc had 96k on the clock a 97 front bumper, tein ss, custom 3 inch flanged exhaust, injen intake, brand new belts, supra seats and 19 inch rims. for 3800
so dont settle for a beat up sc just wait and find the right one
kinda what i figured, as far as junk yards for interior parts around here.... theres not much at all..... Seller texted me yesterday asking if i was interested or not i figure i might throw im a low offer maybe 2G's.
I was looking on sewell and the damn door panels alone run close to 900.00 each. And both have to be replaced.

Check ebay and the classified adds here on clublexus. It should cost you $100-200 per panel depending on condition.
