i have a stock 95 sc 5 speed....while taking my car for a test run (after my routine oil change) i redlined 3rd to 4th and all of a sudden the car just kinda felt like it lost power and it started to shake...now when ever i take it over 40 mph the car shakes a bit but the shifter shakes even worst also makes a weird sound kinda like grinding idk.....jw what can it be....any help please
tranny mounts. i'm not positive how to test them other than looking at them, but maybe just the force of redline shifting was enough to fracture one of them?

Try 200 HP and it just flat out got OLD.
I replaced my engine mounts, tranny mounts, tires, wheels exhaust hangers and a partridge in a pear tree before I finally got under the car and started looking up in the well at the driveshaft to replace the center bearing.
If your shifter shakes, REPLACE THE FLEX COUPLER.
It's just rubber like everything else under there you replace when it gets hard and old.
