Post One simple question!!!!

i just got my lexus so i am just now trying to learn as much as possible for it! I was looking to upgrade my engine and somebody was talking to me about the twin turbo soarer engine in japan! They were talking about there being a way to import it here! Can somebody help me out and tell me some info about this

All you gotta do is search for 1jzgte and you'll find all the info you can stand.

Is that the engine to put in the sc400....the v8?

You can swap it into an SC300 or 400. The SC400 swap is a little more involved though in terms of the wiring. It may even be easier to supercharge your car, than swap it.

No, the 1JZGTE is the Soarer 2.5 liter twin turbo...

the 1UZ is the Soarer V8...

the 2JZGTE is the 3.0 liter twin turbo big daddy MF'er that came a little later on..

What kind of Lexus do you have?

A "fast" car can be defined as a lot of things.

What are your specific goals w/ it?
If you just want HP and want it now then check over your 1uz and then SUPAACHAEGE it.

Umm the best thing here would be to go look for a used supercharger or twin turbo kit in the classifieds and pray for the best.
