Mesh grill?
I've tired Auto Zone, home depot, and lowes. The auto zone around here must not be as into what people need for their cars, as they are where you live, b/c they don't have jack s***. lol At home depot and lowes, the closest thing they had that they showed me was basically chicken wire. I'll try pep boys tomorrow. Home Depot Motorsports?? Never seen one of those around here. I'll try and search for a store close to me online.

lol, they were joking with that home depot motorsports. its just home depot. go back there and go into the gutter section, they should have some gutter gaurd. just buy some of those strips. however many you think you need. (get the strong stuff, not that flimsy ****) Thats where i got mine, and i stuffed it into my bomex kit where they have itin the pic above.
Mistical - you can put that mesh in by wraping it around the hole you are covering from the back, and just load up the mesh around the edges you curled over with clear silicon caulk. just make sure it dries the way you want it to.
if you guys need pics i can get some on my digital camera on the backside of my kit with the mesh.

lexlikenother what are u talking about man, i went to the lowes here in BR and found that exact mesh grill. The only problem is that the sheet wasn't all that big, i'd say 3x1 maybe. If u still cant find it, get in touch w/ me and i'll show u where it is.
lexcoupe could u get those pic, i plan on doing the same thing w/ the mess and wonder how u attached the mesh to the body. thanks

HDM is just a name that they give to home depot around here, since not only that mesh, but even more popular <on other cars> is CAI intakes made out of pvc tubing, or dryer duct for brake coolers, and the most weird thing I have seen, but it actually looked very cool <I even thought it was a real kit> was vinyl siding for sideskirts and bumper lips/covers.. but anyways if you do use the grill from hd, do NOT forget to paint it silver <or chrome> and then applying clearcoat, or at least clearcoat itself to avoid rusting and fading
Really forngoods? I must have had a bunch of morons helping me. Everybody I asked in there said that they didn't have it. I'll try again.
Does anybody know if you can cut out that middle piece going accross the bumper without totally F****** up the bumper? I put a '97 bumper on, without the foglamps. I want to put mesh all in the foglamp hole, plus the one beside it. But that would look sh****. So I figure the only way to make it look good would be to cut out the "bars" going accross, and filling the holes with some type of bondoish material. Can it be done??

lexlikenother i wouldn't recommend it man. it seems like a lot of trouble and it might have a really bad outcome. I guess it all depends on how crafty you are.
So when are u gonna let me check out ur lex? curious to see whatcha done to it and how it stacks up against mine.

As soon as I get it painted, unless you wanna see it with a white bumper, and a black fender. lol . With going to school, and working everyday I'm not at school, I haven't even had time to look for a place to paint it. I washed it for the first time since I had the new bumper on, on sunday, and yesterday I saw that I had condensation in my one year old headlamp. I freaked. So today I held a blow dryer over it, while I let it sit in the sun, and it eventually went away. I just hope it doesn't do that everytime my car gets wet. The only thing i can figure is that a gasket must have gotten moved when I put it back in. My new left headlamp is a little pushed up towards the center, b/c when I got in my wrecks, the little hole that the pin goes in, got moved, so I had to bend the pin to make it fit. So it's a little crooked, but next time i have a chance, I'm going to try to fix that. Still have to go to a junkyard to try to sell my old parts, and maybe find some old headlamps that I can make clearcorners out of. I wanna turbo it, but that $7000 figure looks a bit steep. So holla at me, and let me know when ya wanna check it out.
