So this weekend I should be done with swap..... I hope. So from they guys that been down this path before, any good advise is wanted. I like to save time and money, so please help.

pull EFI fuse and crank to build oil pressure and uh (cough) make sure the return fuel line is hooked up. Good luck man another 1JZ

 

to add to the line remark ^ after cranking for oil, put the fuse back in and turn the key on without cranking so that the pump gets power and check those fuel connections for leaks, other than that if you did a good job it should start maybe a little bit of smoke after a while its good to go. I just finished replacing my motor a couple weeks ago after blowing the last one. oh yea turn the heater on so the coolant will begin to circulate through the whole system.

 

^^Good point on the addons. I didn't have to do the heater because I smashed my heater inlet hose.

 

make sure ur coil plugs are secure, they get brittle n brake and dont boost past 12-13lbs with out A/F controller

 

this should be good, although after you plug the EFI fuse back in turn the key to the ON position about 7-9 times to ensure that sufficient fuel pressure is built up. After that cross your fingers and start the car
