Angry Mirrors won't work !!!

My outside mirrors won't move, not even make a sound so I seems like they are not stuck.. Im waiting til later to check the fuse, but IF it's still fine, what else should I look for.. also when I saw the fuse box, it didn't have a plastic cover, I thought it should've, and also saw 2 wires, a Red one and a BLue one kinda coming out of the same fuse, is this normal???? Ill come back later in the afternoon with the exact fuse that it comes from once I find the manual...

My mirrors do not work either. I have the manuals. I have not had the time to check the situation but I may do it tomorrow. There is a fuse, but the guy I bought the car from did some major stereo hacking to the car and I suspect the mirror connections are not made. So I will have to pull the door panel and get a good look at the harness to see exactly what hacking has been done there. There is the directional switch at the positional joystick and the right/left selector switch. We'll see.

By the way - I'm still working on scanning the 93 SC300 manual complete - it's taking longer than I thought. I'll post when I've got it done.

Good luck - let us know what you find as will I.

It could be your mirror ECU. Unfortunately, this is a common reason to why the mirrors stop working on these cars.

Check for sure before you buy. The manual does show how to check the motor, ECU...

ECU from Carson Toyota ~$190 (800) 908-6968, I replaced mine last October.

well I don't have the service manual, all I did is check every single fuse that had to do with the Mirrors and they all were ok, is the ECU too hard to change???

The ECU is locate under the dash below the steering column. When you have the new ECU, you'll see where the screws locations. Very tight space, use small screw driver ect...
Just take the negative battery cable off before changing the ECU incase there might be a surge and kill other components.
