When we bought the 93 new, we got the Lexus rocker guards from the dealer. Pretty similar to the image above.

Look great? Well, no, but rock chips look worse...

Don't have any good pics of the 93 that would show them.

exactly what i was lookin for, thanx for the pics, thats a beautiful 92 garnet sc, wish my baby was that clean... but i think on a darker colored car it might flow a little better and not stand out as much, im gonna pic up the oem 1s from the dealer for 120.00 for the rear pair,

Why not pick up some used ones for cheap? $120 is kind of steep for what they are... I had an old set but I chucked em because I didn't think anyone would buy em

damn i wouldve took those off your hands oh well, but good point ill probably post something in the classifieds and see whats out there,

but painting them would be different for sure, but they might get pretty beat up being right behind the drive wheels, if i do find some used ones i might paint it sem satin black just so its a little more understated than being that semi shinny black plastic,

I have them on my 1992, and they are a life saver for not slinging so many rocks up. Especially when you run bigger than stock rims. I like them, including the stock front lip. JMO. Sorry for no pictures, but the above SC says enough.. :-)

Troy you need to get a little Marhyde or SEM black satin trim paint and shoot those flaps.

Keep a bit of tire shine or armor all on them and they stay black. Mud flaps FTW

AKA- "constant maintenance" Shot them with trim paint once and they go super black and stay that way. Takes all of ten minutes to take newspaper and tape them up and shoot. Gotta get all that armor all off though.

PS- these flaps are a very nice addition to any Sc.

Mine were never faded

I'm just picky and armor all the front lip and mud flaps after every wash.

thanx for all the replies, im pretty convinced that this is gonna be a good mod to do, kinda makes that otherwise bland rear end look a little more filled in and not so plain jane, so if anyone has a set for sale i posted a wtb thread in the classifieds so holla if you gottum
