When I picked up my '95 SC last year, it had the typical "bleeding climate control screen" issue. It was never a big deal to me, so two weeks ago I met a local person who sold me a mint climate control. He claimed it was off of a 1995 SC300, but when I installed it and turned it on, the LCD screen and the buttons lit up in a greenish-hue color instead of matching the tan/light amber on my radio unit. That's not a big deal either.
But then, these past couple days have been in the mid-90s, and when I run the A/C to full blast, even to "MAX COLD", there is solely warm air. No A/C whatsoever. My old unit gave me A/C perfectly fine. I'm sure everything is plugged in correctly, but I will double-check tomorrow evening. If it's cool enough, I'll check to see if there is any heat, but in the mean time, does anyone have any idea what is going on? I believe there are no differences between the climate units from 1992-2000 and did not think a '94 unit on a '95 would be an issue- they look identical on the outside, plugged in the same, etc.
