What shock/spring combo should i go with? and where can i buy some shocks/springs online? are all MKIV shocks/springs compatible with the sc400? is the supra tokico illumina shock/spring combo a good way to go? i'm looking for a pretty decent drop because i dont like how it looks high, and looking for some comfort but not really necessary.

tokico/eibach
tokico/tanabe
tokico/espelir( can't find the espelirs online)
mkIV tokico illumina shock/spring combo
any others recommended?

i also have someone who's selling used 30,000 miles hks hypermax coilovers for $700 and a lot of people say i should get a rebuild if i buy it but don't want to spend too much on rebuilding it.

so any other suggestions? and which ones do you guys choose out of the ones i listed above? lmk

Tokico and Espelir spings. These give you the most drop for just adding new springs. Andby far the cheapest way to go. Do a google search, to find the springs, from 280 to 400. Most of them do free shipping.
The MKIV should work also.

get tokico's... don't use your stock shocks!!! they can't handle lowering springs for long

If you can find it in your budget to purchase coilovers you should go that route. The ability to adjust height and dampening is extremely valuable for the transition between daily driving and the track. If you cannot afford them at this point, I believe tanabe springs will give you the lowest drop. Don't quote me on that.
