Default Buying used 1uzfe, need advice!!!

I have a 92 sc400 with 230k miles on it and the heads are blown... i found an engine for $375 with 94k on it... my question is, should i get the heads on my old engine done or should i go with this newer engine and what should i replace as far as belts and seals? thanx for the help!!!

i would just take the 94K engine as a whole and drop it in...

If you have anything newer on your engine such as a repalced alternator, or something, I would swap that over to the newer engine.

Replace the rear main seal is your main priority. If you see any random oil drips or something, replace those seals...
