Funky Steering
Hey, so I'm having a strange issue with my steering and I was curious if someone here might have an idea.
Normally, when my steering wheel is straight, the wheels point straight. In the last few weeks though, after I take a corner at any sort of speed, the wheel has a tendency to remain slightly turned in that direction after the wheels have straightened out. Turn the wheel to the right, it stays to the right, go left, it goes straight, left again and it stays left.
So I took it into my local mechanic and had him check out the steering linkage and described the problem, and he says everything looks good to him and gives it back to me with no charge.
Any thoughts?

EDIT: So, it was the rack bushings. I asked the mechanic to look at them because I live in an apartment complex that prohibits auto work in the lot. He said he looked at them and they were fine. They weren't. Long story short, I wound up driving the car three hours to my parents house and replacing the bushings myself.

for sure it was the warped rotors? i have the exact same problems and changed my rack bushings but it didn't fix the problem. how do i inspect my rotors to see if it's warped? could it be any other problems?
warped rotors cause pulsation when braking at slower speeds. Let off the brakes and the pulsation will stop.
I dont think rotors would cause wheels to look crooked. Its definitely something with steering. Maybe tie rods, inner /outer ?
