Default a/c problem

well my typical a/c, warm as crap when you come to a stop. but if im at a stop the a/c gets warmer and warmer and then eventually the a/c shuts off then after idling for a bit it will turn back on and then eventually turn off, it wont do this while im driving . its almost like the a/c is overheating and shutting down. i beleive a a/c fan would solve this. but it never came with one from the factory.well mine didnt. so something isnt right here.

Sounds like the high side pressure is too high. What condition is the condenser in? Do you have the stock fan? Shroud?

your a/c sounds overcharged. this freezes up your evaporator making it not work then once it thaws out it turns back on and freezes again. you could take a screw driver and release some refrigerant into the atmosphere but thats highly illegal! punishable by ten years in jail and 500,000$ fine. but i cant stop you from what you do in the privacy of your own home.
