I was parked head out in a corner spot and came back to this.




I guess someone clipped my car when turning. I understand the damage on the upper portion but I don't get how the fogs and lower portion got scratched as well because the bumper tapers inward from top to bottom like \









Lower portion damage--ripped my clear bra, cracked the fog light housing, and scratched my fog light as well.

Any ideas on the scenario? I'm baffled.

I had similar damage to my front bumper too, never did figure out when it happened.

 

lOoks like a scrape by lowered car. It's way too common in crowded cities like LA. Looks like clear bra took the hit. Maybe paint is ok. Did you apply the bra yourself?

 

Looks like the AC cars have a bounty on them.

I don't think it was a shopping cart because it was in a school parking lot.

I walked around for half an hour looking for cars that had sideskirts that poked out but I didn't find anything conclusive. I don't get why there's grease on it as well, you can see it above the fog light in the clear bra crevice.

I had the bra installed by someone.

 

Hmmm, that sucks. Be happy that your bumper did not crack. Also I think one guy is selling a passenger light fog in the classifieds

I don't don't think I want to drive my car anymore after I get it painted...

 

as soon as I saw who started this thread I was pretty saddened...but the damage ain't as bad as I thought...but still sucks

 

Maybe someone was backing out and didn't see??? Either, that sucks azz...you're gonna have to re-do the bumper AND the clear bra

 

I had the exact same damage on my sc. Previous owner swiped the side of his garage. Clear bra ripped and the fog got scratched up too. I think the bumper flexes and gives way to scrape up the fog.

I just recently removed the clear bra and am in the process of wetsanding and redoing the fog.

 

backed into by a raised 4x4? tire scuffs?

 

hmm.. maybe a kid riding a bike with big pegs that turned too close? or the pedal hit the bottom and their shoe hit the top?

 

i dunno?looks to me that someone backed into your car & there tire brushed your car.because if you look at the first pic,theres what looks like a scuff mark & bits of rubber?& as they reverse there bumper scraps your bra?.i dunno?its wierd.that shows how much people could drive.

his car looks pretty slammed.would be a good chance to fix his bumper & get rid of those "ooohh s h i t" scrapes
