Satin Black Vinyl spray, black microsuede retrim on the lower door pods. New carpet in charcoal (E-Bay), new Momo wheel, E-Bay hand break cover and shifter. Window and console controls all sprayed satin black, and relabelled with Barry's Model lettering, 3pt, Arial font. http://www.modellettering.com/

As long as you're not too squeamish about applying an angle grinder to your car - then no!

I had to make the shaft rounder to make the new **** fit (the **** hole is round, while the Toyota shaft is kinda oval) and about 1 inch shorter - so it didn't look odd.

So 10 minutes with the angle grinder, lots of sparks and nervous sweat and it was done.

I slid a short length of black plastic tube over the shift shaft and pushed it down.

Slid the shift **** over the butchered shaft and tightened the three grub screws supplied at an appropriate height - took a minute to find the level at which it worked properly.

Slid the plastic tube up to cover the screws.

that's it...

$25 or so......

I forgot, I relocated the overdrive switch to the gearshift surround. I used a spare Toyota switch and relabelled it o/d norm.
