AFM disconnected: side effects
My 94 Sc4 was hesitating like a mother- Especially at low RPM's
I thought at first it is a TC issue - I changed it. Stall RPM 2700 - Issue remains
What did I do next?
I disconnected the AFM plug --> check engine light came on, but the car rides a thousand times better and faster
I'm planning on keeping it disconnected especially after I took the sensor out and sprayed it with smthg I wasn't supposed to spray which caused the sensor to act funny and now even when I connect the AFM check engine light stays on, and the car literally dances and shakes - yep it dances
Anyway, my question is: are there any side effects (besides extremely low gas mileage) that my SC is going to face?

yeah it really has no idea what amount of air that is coming in and wont be able to properly calculate for the amount of fuel.
if you unhook your AFM and the car runs better 9 times out of 10 you had a bad AFM to begin with
