I was just curious how rare my car is. a 1992 BASE model, no sunroof, no leather, manual tilting/teloscoping wheel. I have never seen or heard of another I was wondering how many others are out there.
No it sure isn't. But it does have 280,000 miles and runs hella good minus the start up rod knock lmao!! It gets beat on religously too! I'm looking for a 5spd swap however.
I have only seen Soarers with manual tilt and telescoping steering wheel, but never a Lexus SC. Didn't know you could get an SC300 without it. Yes, your car is a rare one for sure.
I would absolutely love to post pics, and don't laugh but I don't know how to. Its maroon with tan cloth interior I've got g35 sedan wheels and 2000 model year ls400 front calipers with cross drilled rotors. If someone could possibly instruct me on how to post pics plz pm me. I'm not totally pc stupid I'm just not sure how to get them from "my computer" to the thread.
SCboy I know there are hard top SC's that's what the thread is about my question was are there any Stock hardtop 5spd SC's.

Reason: left out a word
SC coupe, I've never seen a manual tilt/telescoping wheel other than mine either. To be honest you're the first to even know anything about it, meaning you know that soarers came like this. Maybe the original owner was cheap or something! lol. Either way I'm glad. Less weight less to worry about breaking
personally I think it's awesome! My buddy has the whole power situation, but his took a poo the same day he bought the car so now the steering wheel is stuck in a f#@$ spot. I can never have that problem. As far as the no sunroof deal I'm happy for that too!! It all helps out when you are the owner of a tank like us!! (less weight if nobody understands my humor)
