Default Car creeps when in park

When I put my car in park on level ground it slightly creeps forward and when I go from park into any gear you can hear and feel a small thud and there is a jerking feeling as it catches. While driving the car shifts into gear slightly rough, but gets better the longer I drive it, but it does seem to hang in each gear for a little longer than I think it should. I'm pretty sure the thud is cause by a bad transmission mount, but I'm not 100% sure. What could be causing the creeping?

The tranny fluid level is good and is red..............I'm guessing either my tranny is going to die soon, or I might need a flush. My only concern about getting it flushed is the mixed feeling on what it does to older high mileage cars, my car 180,000 miles on it now.
