Intrepid Fog Install
Hey guys, I got these intrepid fogs brand new for 60 shipped and wanted to see how it looked and fit.
I had to do some drilling and trimming, but I think it was worth it:
I wanted to get them on before I got the car painted.
Let me know what you think,
-Freddy

They look good, butmakes the headlights stand out more. The headlights need the yellow removed with some 2000 grit sandpaper, and some cutting compund with wool pad, finishing them off with some good polish and polishing pad.

The passenger's side headlight is actually delined, and needs some finishing touches and plastX to shine. I'll definitely sand the rest of the lights, since it does look crappy by comparison.
I had to trim the black ring surrounding the actual light. I didn't even use a dremel, since mine was broken. I just used a pair of dyke pliers and broke off the plastic. came off pretty cleanly.
i drilled a hole and used a self tapping screw to hold it on to the bumper, and drilled a second hole, and held it on with a regular nut and a locknut. The rest is held on by doublesided tape to prevent it from moving at all, and then duct tape around the back so light doesnt shine through the cracks. It looks pretty OEM, and it's a great deal for the money. If you're good with your hands, I suggest for anyone to do this over the OEM Lexus fogs.
I used fogs from a 98-04 Dodge intrepid. Another plus is that you can aim them from outside the car.

i prefer the stock ones, the intrepid ones being clear just makes them stand out too much i think.. but it could just be cause i know they aren't oem.
not hating, they get the job done and the oem lex ones are way overpriced
