Default SC 400 exhaust

Does anyone know of another exaust company that makes a cat back system for the SC400 besides tanabe and megan racing. I don't like the megan racing tips and the Tanabe is a bit loud. I want a deep tone not loud and raspy. Thanks in advance for any replies

why don't you get it custom done and then pick the mufflers you like the most.

I got mine custom made from the primary cats all the way to the mufflers for $200, and we made a custom channel pipe too. I really like the sound of it so far on the stock mufflers. Deleted resonators and secondary cat.

Some exhaust shops won't take cats or resonators out.

I wanted a local shop to take out my resonator on my Celica All-Trac, as I had a stock muffler on it and didn't need the extra restriction.

But they wouldn't do it, so I just said the hell with it and had them do it anyway.

There are a bunch out there, man. Just youtube "SC400 exhaust." I have the Rod Millen exhaust on my SC400 without any resonators and it's still pretty mellow, but before taking them off it was almost like stock. They are also not a full cat back system. Your best bet is getting one fabricated to your liking.

Here's mine:

Good luck, man.

Naw man, my car has 3 cats, I had one removed. Yea i basically went to a shop and got one custom made with one step larger piping.

My stock sc400 had 2.00" mickey mouse crap exhaust, and I got 2.25" straight(er) piping with a custom channel pipe. It sounds really nice on stock mufflers.

I like the channel pipe route a lot more then the X-pipe or H-pipe route because it offers the best of both worlds for crossover pipes, if you do it right.

Here is what I did for the channel pipe:

Generally, The longer this piece is, the better.
