Hey guys,
I just picked up a 1994 SC400 with about 170k on it for a $1000 dollars. The only thing wrong with it is at has a blown head gasket and the water pump is dead.
Does anyone think it would be worth taking it to a shop and having the water pump and head gasket fixed or should I buy a used engine off ebay?
If anyone has had this kind of work done before could they give me a hint at what type of cost I'm looking at. I think I could pull off an engine swap but that engine has too much weird stuff attached to the front of it for me to confidently change the water pump and head gasket.
