Ya man, that's totally unusual for these trannies. Unless you're putting 500hp+ to it, it should be bulletproof.

I had a hyundai that was wrecked, and afterwards they could never get the engine/tranny to line up perfect. The sideload would kill the tranny within 10k miles. Has the car been wrecked to your knowledge?
