How do i fix my gages?

I just bought a 92 sc400 and the needle on the gages dont light up. How do i fix this? I am new to lexus period, so forgive me if this a daa questions.

Oh, and is it expensive to convert from automatic to standard stransmission?

Do a search. There isn't a quick fix to it. Mainly you either need to send it off to get replaced, lextech is my suggestion, they specialize in lexus lighting. Or you need to try to find some used ones. For the transmission, I wish you luck. It can be done if you have the knowledge, skill, and money. You can easily find a W58 trans for maybe $500, the hard part since you have the 1UFZE is that you need a special adapter plate, and alot of other additional parts. A SC300 swap is much easier. Do a search on both, there already exists some great threads on both topics.
