i have a NRG short hub with NRG quick release. It's FRICKEN AWESOME!! All the ladies be jockin when i walk around campus with my steering wheel strapped to my backpack. The quality of the products are good and are a cheaper alternative to the works bell products.

NRG is good for the price.

Works Bell is the best you can get, very pricey though.

Aftermarket wheels are universal, the hub is car specific. Meaning you can run Nardi, Personal, Momo, Sparco, etc steering wheels, you just have to find a hub that fits that wheel and your car!

Why do so many people like the Nardi steering wheels?
Also the Keys steering wheels...
To me, their so plain, and lack any real styling.. Its just alcantara/suede on a black ring.. Simple.
At least the Sparco's have EG: Perforated Leather AND Alcantara, or some Buttons, or Chrome, etc.. Their elegant.. Momo also, and the likes.

I dont get what the big deal is about Nardi and Keys, their kinda ugly, and look like they belong in some Classic Hot Rod, as opposed to an Import ...???

sc3hunnies, everyone has different taste, some comlicated [if thats the case] as yours, and simple such as I. you have to respect each other's opinion. "to each of their own"

and im sure, everyone has their own reason behind it.

have you tried driving with a nice shiny leather steering wheel? after a while you sweat and it makes the wheel slippery. the suede gives you a positive grip all the time. im talking about track driving. for the street you can get a welded chain wheel like this and it will be fine

this is what i have in my car

its real wood and its not slippery at all. well to be honest its not even my wheel. my buddy bought it for his mk3 supra and the car doesnt run yet so im "borrowing" it for now.

btw its a mk3 supra hub adapter made my NRG. for our cars you can use a hub adapter made for almost any toyota, including mk4 supra, mk3 supra, sw20 mr2, and im pretty sure the ae87 corolla.

as far as the quick release i would go with a works bell. it nice but pricey. next one up is nrg. megan makes a decent one too. not a big fan of it but the price is okay.

I have no idea. My mechanic figured it out.
I was asked this questions before so I asked my mechanic.
He could not remeber..... Sorry.
