the horn is a simple solution. its a negative ground activated circuit. meaning when the wire on the steering wheel goes to ground, ie any part of metal on the chassis, the horn goes off. what you do is pull up a tech sheet for the SC and find what color the horn wire is. after that you splice into that wire and connect it to the horn button. the button is attached to the metal portion of the wheel, and the car, so when you press the button it makes it go toot toot

actually i havent even done it on my car yet. too lazy. havent had horn in almost a year. kinda illegal too. lol. i have done the horn wire thing on a few cars and, in principle, it the same on most cars. only rarely do cars have a positive horn.

ill try to find the tech sheet to let you know what color the wire is.

the cruise is gone on mine. i was thinking of making a small 3-button panel and tapping into stock wiring to get cruise back. its only good when on those really long drive to the track and back. other then that i never use it.

and im sure, everyone has their own reason behind it.
I wasnt disrespecting anyone.. I was just asking why the Nardi style is so popular..
I just dont think theres anything really special about it.
No biggie.. It was just a question, but I you're right, to each his own.

I know exactly what you mean. I have a Sparco Lap 5 Steering Wheel w/ Suede.
Again, its just weird to me.. I've seen elegant interiors where everything appears high end, or high performance; and then theres this really simple-looking steering wheel, that appears random, 'cus it doesnt exactly match the theme, or do anything for the aesthetics of the car.
I dunno, it doesnt matter; Im just sayin'..
I dont get why "that particular" wheel (the Nardi) is so popular with people.
I included Keys, 'cus thats another plain, rather lackluster steering wheel, thats all.
To me, it looks like some temporary replacement 'cus your airbag deployed, Ha.

this is what i have in my car

its real wood and its not slippery at all. Well to be honest its not even my wheel. My buddy bought it for his mk3 supra and the car doesnt run yet so im "borrowing" it for now.

Btw its a mk3 supra hub adapter made my nrg. For our cars you can use a hub adapter made for almost any toyota, including mk4 supra, mk3 supra, sw20 mr2, and im pretty sure the ae87 corolla.

As far as the quick release i would go with a works bell. It nice but pricey. Next one up is nrg. Megan makes a decent one too. Not a big fan of it but the price is okay.
holy first gen ipod!!

They should fit any standard 6-hole Hub Adaptor.
Sparco/Momo are usually the same holes.
There are 3-hole Sparco's, but they-too line up within the hexagon.

If i were to go aftermarket wheel i would probably end up getting a Nardi im not sure why but i like the design, black with red/blue sitching looks nice to me. Then again its to your own liking. My friend has a momo wheel its whatevers not my type but he loves it.
