hello SC masters!! i am new to the SC field. need alittle help.

i am looking for coilovers for 95 sc300. i plan to slam the car as low as possible. i want to look for something that is super stiff. i really dont car about the ride. i looked at stance and so far they look really stiff on paper but does anyone have experience with the ride? is it stiff?

or is there another brand that will be stiffer? or should i get coilovers for supras, will that be stiffer?

i am ok with spending up to $1600

thanks guys!

get stance and slam it.

i have a set of stance gr+pro on my car. the ride is nice even on 3/4 full stiff. when it is on full soft it feel close to stock actually.

what is your reasoning behind getting "stiffest" coilovers?
stiffer is not alwasy better, actually it is almost never better. you have to let the shocks do the work and decide you ride conditions. most ideally for best handling you want to start with a soft spring and work your way up if necessary.

this is the pics when i got my stances put on.

this is not even on the lowest setting. at this point it was almost impossible to drive and it would rub from contact with the sealer in the cracks of the road.

this is my car currently

a little over 2" off the ground

the back of the car is never a problem when slamming. the front is the issue. you have the chassis harness that will get eaten away by the wheels as well as a bracket that should be cut out otherwise you will rub all the time and destroy tires.

Thats right. I installed a set of these bad boys on my brother's 95 SC300. These are FULL HEIGHT ADJUSTABLE which means you can rest the chassis on the ground if you wanted to. The spring rates are higher than Teins Basic, SS, and Flex. Plus you have the option of upgrading to higher spring rates for a more stiffer ride. He are riding on 14 and 12kg. Getting them for a Supra will not make a significant different since they are very similar. Also for the price you just cant beat it anywere else. I just started seeing Stance coils on a few cars out there. These too are FULL HEIGHT ADJUSTABLE. The price is not that bad either. I have not compared spring rates yet but I hear they ride pretty stiff.

i guess most ppl are saying stance. i want a "stiffer" ride so i can drive slammed and not have too much suspension travel. i am not too worry about handling.

and i will look into hypermax III

Powered By Max go really low too, that's what I've got.

I'm that low, on 19s. The coilovers can go a few inches lower.

Thats what alot of people think but its best if you just read up on them and compare for yourself.

~ Spring Rates ~
Megan coils are 14 Front and 12 Rear
Stance coils are 14 Front and 10 Rear

So if you ask me what is stiffer, I would say Megans. Im about to pick up their 18kg Front and 16kg rear springs for an even stiffer ride.
