Same ones I have. They are nice if you are not looking for too loud.

First thing, the SC400 will sound really nice if the exhaust system is built right. You'll love the V8 tone like nothing else. Like a member mentioned earlier, if you don't have the cats and resonators, it'll be really loud. You may use a set of big mufflers and they absorb the sound wave a lot more than skinny mufflers. If you listen to the Civics without cats and have skinny mufflers, your V8 will sound loud almost 1.5 of them. Throw in a set of hi-performance headers, and your V8 will sound loud as twice.

To compromise between unacceptable loudness and a deep and powerful roaring at WOT, you may need the high flow cats (you can see the light on the other ends), and a set of big body mufflers. If you have skinny mufflers, run the resonators to absorb the noise a little bit. For the V8, make sure you'll run the X pipe so both banks will balance each other out. This setup will give you the low "grrr" from low to mid end, and a full open powerful tone from mid to high end. If you don't run the cats, you'll definitely need big resonators and mufflers, or you'll catch a ticket.

Yep. It'll throw a check engine light if there's no cat.

Okay thats what i thought haha. What if i hollowed out the cats and just put em back in? But if that throws on the check eng light, is there sensors that i can buy to fool the computer?

The sensors will detect that. If you don't want the cats, you'll need to install the O2 sensor simulators. They'll trick the ECU to think it's normal. Another way is to install hi-flow cats. The ECU won't know, but it'll flow better.
