ok i tried to perform a burn out with my sc300 by power breaking. it worked the last time i did it but for some reason its not working like it should. I held onto the breaks gave it gas til it hit 2k and it stops there it wont go any higher and then i let the breaks go just a little bit and step on it but it still wont go anywhere and it stays at 2k rpm. dose anyone else have this problem??? it doesn't do a burn out it just moves the car.
actually i was at the track and i hit the brakes slam on the gas and it only hit 2k rpm and wont go any further and i tried a couple of times same results. i believe my engine is worn out.
wow that still don't solve my problem lol. how else would i heat up my tires before a race?
get line locks! if you are running an auto or manual tranny and trying to heat your tires, just google brake line locks, not too expensive but better than a new transmission

It's becasue you're power BREAKING not power BRAKING duh
what you are doing is actually a torque converter stall test. Normal stall is around 2000rpm for the stock tranny. You shouldn't be holding the brake pedal down for long otherwise you might damage the converter and possibly the tranny. I think you need a high stall converter and a line lock kit and you should be smoking in no time.
