a depressing story.....bye CL
So here it goes:
I am not proud, but as we all know, some of us go through harder times than others. With that being said, about 6 months ago I felt I had everything. I had my Culinary Degree, making great money, purchasing my SC, partying all the time and just basically living the dream. I am 22 years old living in Austin,TX. While I was doing all this fun stuff, I was living with my dad paying no bills only but my car and insurance payment. My dad didnt like the life I was living so he gave me the ultimatum to either live my own life or follow his rules.
I moved out, then in with a friend in a house down here. it was going good for a month, doing my own thing finally, not answering to anyone. Then a little after I was "on my own", everything came crashing down. I lost my job...and right now with the economy, especially in the restaurant biz, everyones trying to save money and cut hours, so I couldn't find a job.
Now fast foward til' now...Still NO job, with bills. I felt so low because I had ran out of my funds that I had saved. I recently left the house I was in because I couldn't pay. Luckily my cousin took me in with no rent to pay
but now...I have to let go of what I love most. My SC
This morning my dad called me talking ****, telling me he wants my rims off the car. So I met up with him, he got my rims and gave me the whole "i told you so" speech. So I cannot pay on my SC and I must give it back to the dealer.
I had much fun with the car and meeting local Lexus guys. Cars is my life and for me to give that up for a while hurts. I know I am at my lowest right now, but I will prevail. I will keep my faith in the lord and I will be back with another SC for sure. In the meantime, keep up the great work with the SC's and I'll see ya'll soon.
Before I send the car back, if anyone is near Austin,Tx and wants a 97+ kit let me know. I'm letting the car go this monday. Your car must be renaissance red so I can put your 92-96 bumpers on mine to give back.
Just had to vent, sorry for the novel.

I feel the pain man, we all know how that can go and how sometimes it all seems so great only to fall down again. It seems to be all about peaks and valleys sometimes.
I personally would LOVE a 97+ kit, but sadly of course my car isn't red. I am in Austin though. This is probably the first one that's ever popped up that wasn't in Cali!
Best of luck to you finding a new job. There are new restaraunts all over the place in Austin lately, so I'm sure you can find something, at least something small soon. Hopefully down the line you can get back in the SC game and we'll have to set something up here locally.
Again best of luck to you and I'm sorry things aren't going better for you.

That's just how life is sometimes...but you have to pick yourself up and strive harder. Never lose your faith good sir. Good luck finding your job! You'll be back with another SC in no time!

But best of luck Broski!
Not so sure about all of the "listen to your parents" stuff; I know many parents who are not worth listening to. However I will say from my personal experiences that if you take this experience as a whole and learn from it, you have already prevailed.
Also as everyone else has pointed out, you will be back with us shortly. When I was 22, I was making about 26-30k a year, working hard at Walmart, heheh. Now I'm only a few years the better, and have doubled that... and I don't have my college degree yet!!!
You'll be fine, especially with your generous cousin's assistance. Also, I'm sure you're more than welcome to hang around the forums to dream-shop once you're back on your desired track
