what do u think
ive benn lookin to buy a sc300 and i found this one its a 93 it has supra frount seats, supra exhaust 3in, upgraded supension, soarer rear end with lsd the guy wants 4000 it used to be a 1jzgte but swaped back to 2jz unknown mileage. do u think its a good deal? here the pics.....

do you know why he swapped the 1jz for a 2jz? was it just for smogging issues for being a dd or something? definitly get a compression check. looks good for 4k in my opinion, and how many miles on the chassis?

who cares about the mileage, just drive it, and if it blows up, you can put another motor in, all thats important is mileage on the chassis itself. I'd say its worth 4k for sure as long as it runs good and the body is straight, seems like its got some good parts.
definetly Chino's aka "Got_TRD" old car..
it was swapped back cause he blew the 1jz motor up.. It lasted along time though, fast car for a bpu auto, and by the vids i've seen of his car he really had fun with it

yea that was my car. man that thing is all stripped down
it did not look like that when I parted with the car 3 weeks ago. This is how it looked when I handed the title over-
It was just missing it's heart (1jz)
I see that my amp/subs, soarer emblem, koyo radiator, electric fans, wheels, fmic, greddy boost controller are gone.... Suprised the front lip is still there.
Fun car? It was very fun... I really didnt want to let it go but the time to build it back up wasnt right and im pretty happy with my 335 right now

For $4k you can probably find another sc300 that hasnt been swapped with an unknown motor. If you plan to go na-t, id look for a car with known mileage on it, if you're gonna swap i guess it doesnt matter.
op- I bought the motor from Ric. Im not sure what his s/n is on here now a days but he has a red sc300 very similar to mine now with a single turbo. He should know the mileage of the n/a motor. What ever he tells you, add about 300 too that. Thats all i've driven the car since it blew nov. 06. 200 of which was from Orlando to Tampa, then Tampa to Orlando when I sold it.
