I have a 99 lexus sc400 and I wanna get the altezza round tail lights for it with the black housing. But everywhere I look they say 95 - 97, would those fit on my 99? What mods would I need to do to make them fit?

Thanks

Give you $20 for your old lights. They will bolt in.

Here are my tail lights. I'm personally not a big fan of them, they just came on the car when I purchased it.

What year is that? Does the wiring look modified at all? It wouldn't be that hard to do, just time consuming and i'm trying to decide if i want to order some.

Also, anyone have any experience with these?

do you like ricers?
if not, keep your stock tailights, or switch to the 97+ tails.

If you want taillights that look like that, buy a Supra. I think they ruin the look of the car.

I don’t like ricers and I do like the 97+ but I’m planning on painting my SC black eventually. I’d like to use VTS NiteShades to make the tail lights phantom. I have them done now but I’ve had them done for a while and the VTS hasn’t held up very well, even with a few coats of clear. I’m gonna redo them when I get some time but if they start to look rough again I’m considering ordering some altezzas.

Anyone know of any other products that will black out the tail lights and hold up better? Or does anyone have any advice on using the VTS that will make it hold up better?

Ok, I see what your getting at now, and its not a bad idea..I'm just anti-altezza on anything but an ALTEZZA.

did you use adhesion promoter with the VTS, or scuff the lenses with steel wool?

Well here is what mine look like. It's on a 97 but there should be no difference in the wires to get them to work. I currently have them smoked by 2.5tsoarer but I haven't had a chance to take a picture of it. As soon as I get a camera I will post them in my thread and here as well. I personally think they are not that bad but to each his own.
