JDM headlights will aim slightly to the right to aim light more toward the centre of the road for a vehicle that drives on the Left Side (Japan / Australia / New Zealand / UK / etc)

USDM are the opposite... your beams point slightly left.

You can get around it by just adding a couple of washers when you bolt in the headlight to correct the beams to suit... may take some adjustment, but asides from that, all fittings are the same from memory

I have 2 sets of JDM headlights. I'm using one set on my car now. They use the 9005 bulbs.

I also have an ebay plug and play hid kit. They show great with a nice cut off line. I know it's nowhere near a retrofit but it's all I need. I haven't been able to compare it with a USDM headlight though because mine came with the car.

I don't notice the aiming to the right. It looks pretty centered to me.

Nope. It didn't on mine. The base of the 9006 bulb is too big. The part the actual glass bulb attaches to. The only way I can see it working is if you drill the hole bigger on the projector. Both sets of headlights I have fit the same way.
